Wrangel
Charter Members
When the Wrangell Igloo
of Pioneers was organized on March, a complete list of the charter
members of the group was published. This list contains 54 names of men
who came to Alaska at least 20 years ago. The three members who have
been residents of the Territory the longest are E. P. Lynch who came
here in 1874, Wm. G. Thomas who arrived in 1877 and Joseph Lorberter who
chose Alaska for his home in 1879. The complete list of charter members
with the time of their arrival in Alaska is as follows:
