Ada Springer

Ada Springer, 88, of Kailua Hawaii, died September 18, 2005.

Mrs. Springer was born October 2, 1916 in Bingham, Utah to Fred and Phoebe Phizacklea. She grew up in Murray and attended Murray High School. She married Edward Springer and moved to Juneau, Alaska in 1947 where they lived for more than 30 years.

Mrs. Springer retired from the State of Alaska Dept. of Revenue where she worked as an accountant and eventually returned to Murray. In 1999 she moved to Hawaii to live with her daughter and son-in-law.

Mrs. Springer is survived by a son, Edward Alan Springer of Anchorage, Alaska; and a daughter, Gail Myers of Kailua, Hawaii; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also is survived by her sisters, Alice Olson and Jean Kastelic of Salt Lake City; and a brother, Jim Phizacklea of Wendover.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 26, 2005, at Jenkins Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street in Murray, UT where friends and family may call from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment will follow at Murray City Cemetery.
