Roland D. Montminy
NORTH POLE, Alaska – Roland D. Montminy, 48, died Feb. 19, 2001, in his home as a result of an accident.
Born in Manchester, N.H., on March 17, 1952, he was the son of Normand and Irene (Provost) Montminy.
He attended Sacred Heart Parochial School, Manchester, N.H. In 1971, he graduated from Manchester West High School in New Hampshire.
Before retiring in 1991, he served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Montminy worked for AAFEES in the North Pole.
He enjoyed the outdoors, working on his classic car, dancing and genealogy.
In addition to his parents, family members include his wife of 29 years, Pauline (Gendron) Montminy; three daughters, Mrs. Tanya Patterson of Ohio, Danielle Montminy of Colorado, and Allison Montminy of the North Pole; a grandchild; four brothers, Roger Montminy of Alto-Loma, CA., Lucien Montminy of Londonderry, N.H., Marc Montminy of Manchester, N.H., and Alan Montminy of Hooksett, N.H.; two sisters, Claire Bruce of Franklin, N.H. and Ann Shannon of Allenstown, N.H.; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
