SOLOFUA "SONNY" LAVEA, 71, of Kenai, Alaska, formerly of Hawai'i, died April 1, 2001.

Born in Honolulu. U.S. Postal Service carrier.

Survived by brothers, John Becker and Jason Woodworth; sister, Salai'a Tufuga; daughter, Hinano Angon; sons, Spencer, Keoni, Lambert and Mong; 17 grandchildren. Inurnment 9 a.m. April 9 at Waimea County Cemetery, Hawai'i, next to Imiola Church; gathering 11 a.m. at Keola Mau Loa Church, Waimea.
