Funny River area homesteader Wanda House died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at her son's house in Battleground, Wash., from complications of emphysema. She was 73.

There will be a celebration of life and potluck at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Sterling Senior Center.
