Todd M. De Laruelle
Kenai resident Todd M. De Laruelle died Monday,
Feb. 7, 2000, in an apparent snowmachining accident near Nikiski. He was 34.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on
Saturday at the Rainbow Bar in Kenai. Funeral services are being held Saturday
in Green Bay, Wis. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park in Green Bay.
Mr. De Laruelle was born Aug. 27, 1965, in
Green Bay, to Sharon (Van Campenhout) De Laruelle and the late Timothy De
Laruelle.
He appreciated Alaska and all its wilderness.
He had lived in Alaska and worked on the pipeline as a welder for the past four
years. He was an avid outdoorsman.
According to friends, "He was a kind and loving
man. We are honored to have had him in our lives and he will always be within
our hearts. Friends he left behind will always remember him as the shiny new
penny who loved the Packers."
Mr. De Laruelle was preceded in death by his
father Timothy in 1991.
He is survived by his mother and her special
friend Sharon De Laruelle and Ron Van Wychen, both of Florence, Wis.; brother
Tim De Laruelle of Green Bay; sister and brother-in-law Tammy and Jim Burkhart
of Florence; nieces and nephews Sharon Ann, Tristan and Sheldon Burkhart, and
Shauna, Sonny, Sadie, Elijah and Salena De Laruelle; numerous aunts, uncles and
cousins.
Local arrangements were made by Peninsula
Memorial Chapels.
