Kent Owen Cushman Jr., infant
Kent O. Cushman Jr., infant, died September 13, at Alaska Native Medical Center
in Anchorage.
A visitation was held September 20, at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Chapel, 737
E St.
A service followed at 2 p.m. with the Rev.
Terry Whittlefey of Crossroads Assembly of God Church officiating. Honorary
pallbearers included Howard K. Nunooruk Jr., Harold B. Nunooruk and Homer K.
Nunooruk. His ashes will be scattered in Nome.
Kent was born September 13, in Anchorage and died shortly after his birth.
His family says, “Kent Owen was a very much loved baby. He was 8 pounds, 13
ounces and 21 3/4 inches at birth. He is and always will be greatly missed.”
Kent is survived by his mother, Barbara Nunooruk, and sister, Marrisa Nunooruk
of Anchorage.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bertha Nunooruk.
