Margaret Elaine Curtis

April 30, 1927 -- April 25, 2005

Sequim resident Margaret Elaine Curtis, 77, died in Olympic Care and Rehabilitation Center after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease.

She was born in Hempridge, Ky., to Dave and Lovell (Brown) Gooden.

She married Charles Curtis in 1975.

Mrs. Curtis, who lived in Alaska for several years after her husband's retirement, moved to Hemet, Calif., then Sunsites, Ariz., before settling in Sequim in 1998.

Survivors include her husband; daughters Vicki Erps of Wasilla, Alaska, and Cheryl Pope of Wilcox, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.

Services: Private graveside service. Sequim Valley Funeral Chapel, Sequim, is in charge of arrangements.
