Richard Warren Craig Chernikoff
 

Richard Warren Craig Chernikoff died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003, at Central Peninsula General Hospital. He was 9 months old.

A viewing will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Peninsula Grace Brethren Church in Soldotna, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. Pastor Chuck Thornton will officiate. Burial will be in Egegik.

Richard was born March 25, 2002, in Soldotna.

"Our beloved and cherished son, Richard, was only here for nine months. He already has left an impression on us for a lifetime. He will be loved and remembered in our hearts forever. He loved to play with his brothers, Jason and Anthony, and enjoyed letting his sister, Jamie, terrorize him. He loved playing with his toys and chasing his bottle. We will remember his loving smile and his laughter. He left beautiful moments in our minds and will always be carried on in our hearts. We love you Richard," his family said.

He is survived by his parents, Jessica and Craig Chernikoff; brothers, Jason Alto and Anthony Chernikoff; sister, Jamie Chernikoff; grandparents, Richard and Roberta Alto; great-grandmother, Mae Batt; uncles, Justin Alto, Augie Alto and Ben Chernikoff; aunts, Elizabeth Vance, Lois Smith and Rosa Alto; and many other family members.

Memorial donations may be sent to the family at (address removed).

Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel.
