Danny Green, the restaurant man, has moved from Chatanika to Olnes.

Miss Grace Fisher and Miss Johnson, of Chatanika, have been visiting friends at Olnes for the past day or two.

Mrs. Lois Wallsteed, of Olnes, is in Fairbanks today on business.

Mrs. W. H. Thorn, wife of the government surveyor, is in the city preparatory to going Outside on Tuesday's boat. Mr. Thorn will go out over the trail after his season's work is completed here.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hagan are back from their trip Outside. They paused on the way to look over the Ruby camp.

H. M. Henning is up from Hot Springs.

J. N. Sousa expects to leave tomorrow for Ruby.

Miss M. V. Holgate is up from the Nenana River mission.

Marks, Shafer and Samson, who have been operating all season on No. 9 bench of Goldstream, are planning on starting a new shaft in a few days.

Walter Raggett of the Little Eldorado Mining company, will get away on the next boat for England, which he has not visited in 22 years.

Mrs. David Fairburn entertained at dinner last evening at the Fairburn residence on Seventh avenue.

Fred Bleecker now is working two shifts on his open cut on 5 below Goldstream, as he wishes to get as much dirt as he can through the boxes before the frost tightens up the flow of water.

Alois Friedrich and Gust. Leondecker are busy timbering their shaft on the Iron Mask, at the head of Fairbanks creek.

Tanana Reaches Chena With List of Yukon River Passengers.

SHE LEAVES TOMORROW.

Number of Local Persons Are Going Outside to Spend the Winter.

With passengers from Dawson and river points the Tanana reached Chena this morning when the passengers were transferred to the Tanana Valley train. Following is the list:

From Dawson--E. W. Hartman, F. E. Bond, H. Daniels.

From Bettles--Mrs. Capt. Haynes.

From Tanana--S. S. Silvermarhorn, A. Vlier, A. L. Myers, Henry Myers, R. H. Gilliland, E. E. Durgin, G. D. Coleman.

From Holy Cross--M. Friedman.

From Dikeman--Mrs. J. Johnson.

From Ruby--H. Bloom, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hagan.

From Hot Springs--H. M. Henning, Mrs. A. Byron, T. A. Uttigard, D. C. Seair, Henry Gregson.

From Nenana--Miss M. V. Holgate, R. G. Tatum, C. E. Betticher, F. J. Date.

Passengers for the Outside, by both up-river and lower-river routes will take the train from Fairbanks at 10:30 tomorrow morning. They will board the boat at Chena. Those who have made reservations are:

TOM M'GOWAN HAS GONE TO DAWSON.

Tom McGowan, attorney for the Northern Commercial Company, who has been down river on business of the company, left Tanana Saturday morning on the St. Michael, en route to Dawson. He will return to Fairbanks before the freeze-up.
