| 1 can corn1 pint boiling water
 1 pint milk
 1 slice onion
 2 tablespoons lard
 2 tablespoons flour
 1 tsp salt
 Pinch of pepper
 Chop corn, add water, simmer for 
twenty minutes, then rub through a sieve.  Scald milk with onion, remove 
onion and add milk to corn.  Bind with lard and flour cooked together then 
add salt and pepper. |
